If you've been watching the news or paying attention to this forum, you know about the guy who killed two marines in Ganghwado and took their weapons. Apparently all the weapons turned up under a bridge this morning down right outside Gyungju. Sounds like they don't have any idea how to catch the guy.

Not that sarcastic comments aren't welcome--I fully encourage them--but you do know which stolen weapons I'm talking about, right? I've been sitting on the ends of subway cars just in case he popped up and started killing people indiscriminately.

The guy was caught, he's not an ex marine or cop but an interior decorator.

I wonder if they'll make a movie about it:

Arnold Schwatzenneger's first Korean movie-

You saw him as the Preda Tor
Then we was the Termina Tor
Now seem him kicking ass, as..... the Korean Interior Decora Tor

Very Happy Haha, Have you seen any Korean interior decorating?
That alone is grounds for arrest, regardless of any firearms charges.

Not exactly a news source, but people do refer to it as a newspaper. From The Korea Times:
Quote:
The police Wednesday arrested a man suspected of killing a marine and stealing an assault rifle, ammunition and a hand grenade.

The 35-year-old man named Cho was caught around 3 p.m. near Danseong Theater in Jongno, downtown Seoul by policemen who ambushed him after receiving a tip-off from Cho's friend.

He was immediately taken to Yongsan Police Station but was later transferred to Incheon Metropolitan Police Station for questioning.

Cho worked for an interior company after being released from the army. He has no previous criminal record.

So, he's a former soldier, worked for an interior decorating firm (the story doesn't state what his job at the firm was), and went for broke on his entry into the world of crime.

If you're willing to run over two soldiers, kill one, steal their weapons........then get caught so easily after hiding the weapons under a bridge!!?

Worst. criminal. ever.

Geez. I've been known to frequent that area.
