I can vaguely remember this film about the man with the fastest swimming sperm. Who becomes a reproductive stud. Then there were the Korean mail order brides and the guy obsessed with hair loss and Korean girls always saying" Lets make baby".
It has a similar feel to those moving to Toronto from Newfoundland films |

I've seen a Canadian documentary about a Canadian guy who got a Korean mail order bride yarans ago. (I don't think many Korean women would do this anymore.) They followed him up 15 years later. The old footage, she got off the plane in Canada wearing a hanbok. He was a manager in a grocery store. He was biatching and moaning about how Canadian women weren't traditional anymore. They didn't want to stay home and cook for a man. 15 years later, the loser was out of his job. His wife (now a full on ajumma) was working in a nail shop supporting his ass.
There was another one about Americans in Korea, army guys and contractors, marrying Korean women. One guy was a grunt and married some hot young thing he met in a Itaewon bar. Her english was really good because dad sent her to an english school on the Yongsan base. But, god forbid, she marry one. It's fine to take their educational charity...
Anyway, the GI had this nice apartment, a fridge packed with food. To smooth over the parents, they invited them to come live with them. So the dad is getting PX beer, smokes, a free apartment. But he's still biatching and moaning about his wife's husband. See, if she married an officer, maybe he could understand but a grunt? He is so ashamed he has to lie to his gostop buddies. |

OP
I believe the movie you're thinking about is "90 Days" Set in Montreal, Blue and Hyang-sook have 90 days to get married or she must return to Korea. Blue's friend, Alex, is the 'chosen one'.
