|
|
I'm working for a Uni now. Hours are a little high, though vacation is the full five months. I am looking for a 1st teir, hopefully where I can teach English literature in an Asian context to above average undergrad or grad students. I have an M.A. in English Lit from a well-known American university. If I sign a contract off of your lead then I will Paypal (or mail) you $500. PM me for resume and other information. No joke.
(Bring on the wet blankets).

Better get yourself back in school. Can't see that happening, especially at a top-tier university. Check out the Chronicle of Higher Education's site, or some of the individual university website job postings. The work you want to do requires a Ph.D. |

You might consider it a wet blanket, but it's true. |

Had you made the same post 2 weeks ago I could have sent you in the right direction. And I would have done it for free. Too late now. |

Thanks for your input, #2. I have already taught lit as an elective for one semester at a Uni. I just finished sending a resume to a Chairperson that another poster here was kind enough to refer me to. A well-known chair at yet another university advised me the other day:
"Perhaps you can research into "Teaching English through Literature in the Asian Context." There seems plenty of room for such an approach."
I am not sure why my query generates so much negativity. There are, in fact, numerous M.A.'s teaching Lit in Korea.

SNU just got a government grant to help fund the addition of 50 new foreign faculty across diciplines. Give them a try. |
