For those of you that have dealt with whypaymore.co.kr

Do they have an English speaker on staff?

They have a few on staff who can speak English but they do not "provide English service".

If you call and don't get an English speaker, wait a 1/2 hour and try again. they have about 40 staff on the phone lines at any given time.

Does anyone have a number for whypaymore? I've tried the one on their website but it's dead - also tried the one on the sticky here but that's a fax number.

The one on the website ain't dead.

I called it on Friday and was told no English service before the phone was slammed down.

I'm trying 02 1577 1245 - do you have another number?

I need to change my flight dates and desperately need to get hold of them - actually, does anyone know if I can just change my flight direct with Asiana instead?

I have heard this mentioned several times on here, that Whypaymore's no longer serving English-speaking customers, and I've noticed that the website is also even less English-friendly than before. I've got enough Korean now to navigate it... but why bother? If this is the attitude this business has toward customers who don't speak Korean, they can kiss my white ass. I travel out of Korea about every six weeks and I'm more than happy to buy my plane tickets at Marco Polo Travel in Itaewon, where all the travel agents speak good English and are very friendly and pleasant. I've consistently gotten good fares from them, as well.

Whypaymore?

Whybother?

I used them once in May of this year to book tickets to Japan and they would not accept my Alien Reg number (ARC) or my Canadian credit card. I had to use my Korean friend's reg card number and a Korean credit card. All and all too much of a headache -

I ended up dealing with ShoeString travel and they were very helpful. I think whypaymore is good to get an idea of what prices are out there then just shop around to get the airfare price you want either through Travel Agents or directly through airlines.
