This one make me ROFL. This was the homecoming theme song my Senior year in High School:

Guns N' Roses Lyrics Cause Teacher to Lock Self in Classroom

Thursday, December 13, 2007

ROXBURY, Conn. Karaoke can be scary, but threatening?

A school custodian's impromptu after-hours karaoke performance prompted a police response when a teacher thought she was being threatened over the loudspeaker.

State police say the teacher at Booth Free School barricaded herself inside a classroom Wednesday when she mistook someone singing a Guns N' Roses song over the public address system for a threat.

She was working after hours and thought no one else was in the building. Then she heard someone say over the loudspeaker that she was going to die.

Six troopers and three police dogs showed up and found three teenagers, one of them a custodian at the school, who had been playing with the public address system.

Police say one of them sang "Welcome to the Jungle" into the microphone. The song contains the lyrics "You're in the jungle baby; you're gonna die."

The teenagers were cuffed for about 15 minutes while police investigated. They didn't realize anyone else was in the school at the time. No charges will be filed, said state police Sgt. Brian Ness.

It's probably a good thing that she wasn't armed with a gun ...

If she ended up shooting someone out of extreme fear, her lawyer perhaps would try to blame it on Axel Rose and company...

Do you spell "God" as "Goed"? No. Don't defile Axl's pious name, image or reputation.

Axl Rose is no God (God doesn't wear Charles Mansion T-shirts and alienate all the original members of a once near-great rock band ...)

He was a god in his own time, and still thinks he's one now. Laughing

Bah!

They had one good album that was followed with a decade of Slash knowing he was too good of a player to be doing the ten minute crap power ballads they were putting out.

As a great American poet once said: "Don't believe the hype"

Which album is that? And what do YOU consider a great rock band?

I was a musically interested pre-teen and at the time I thought GNR sucked balls. As I've aged and mellowed, especially in my music snobbery, I've come to recognize that GNR was a really great band. I was ten when Lies came out, so I probably shouldn't have gotten it, but now I recognize that for the great album it was. They recorded that in a day or so. "Patience" is a great song.

They have sold 90,000,000 albums the world over. The raw sound of Appetite will probably never be heard. Track for track it has to be considered one of the best debut albums (as well as outright 'best' albums) ever.

Maybe Use Your Illusion was a bit OTT and could of condensed into one album (no band is perfect right).

They were great live as well. Its all subjective at the end of the day, I was also too young to have been a true fan when Guns were at their peak.

It's called 'Malicious Harrassment', and they could get in big trouble, considering a school's Federal Property.

It's an old ploy, and laws against it should be more enforced.

Kids, singing ". . .you're going to die?"

Crap man, think if you were there. I'd do the same.

Since when is a municipal school in Roxbury federal property?

Thankfully the cops didn't take it as seriously as Rock did.

What? The avatar? Why is everyone so afraid of Rosie in dominatrix gear? People at my "job" see it all the time.
