Where are some good stores where I can buy a laptop? I know online is good, but I'd rather go and physically look at the laptop.

I'd take a look in the tech forum if I were you. I strongly advise against buying a computer here. You run the risk of having problems with finding one that has an English version of Windows. Some may contradict this, but don't listen to them.

My advice is wait until you go home to buy one and bring it back with you.

For laptops:

Yongsan.

Son-in plaza is where you will find the best pricing and most flexible dealers (willing to get you the LEGAL English windows for your machine). You may have to hunt around for the machine you want. You can find new, refurbished or used machines here.

You can also get OK deals in the Terminal building (they will negotiate) and an OK selection of new or used machines.

You will find the best selection, but the worst pricing, at the I'Park mall (above Yongsan station). They usually won't negitiate and often resort to bait and switch tactics to sell you an older machine (new) at full price.

I can't wait I have to buy one now. I'm supposed to do my thesis but my laptop throws fits and startsin running ones across the screen or the mouse jumps around. And home, Peru, laptops are double what they'd be here.

Thanks for the info about Yongsan, I'll check it out.

Also just be sure to ask that you want Windows in English installed. They will do it for you no problem. That's if you want Windows in English.
