I am now taking an advance Comp/Lit. course and in December I have to give a literary presentation on an autobiography and I was going over some ideas and I decided on one; I am doing my presentation on Ron Jeremy's The Hardest "(Working) MAN in Showbiz.
I ordered the book to my university through the interlibrary loan system (There are only 2 libraries in CT that have the book in circulation) and you should have seen the librarian's face when I asked for the book.

Me: Hi

Him: Hi, what can I do for you?

Me: I am here to pick up my book.

Him: What's the title?

Me: "The Hardest (Working) Man in Showbiz" by Ron Jeremy

He got the book and his eyes oggled as he unintentionally saw noticed the pictures in the book.

Him: Is this it?

I shook my head.

Him: Oh! He's the guy with the big *beep*

I shook my head

Him: Do you have your library card?

I handed him my library card and he proceeded checking out the book.

Anyway, I will be reading the book to give my presentation in December, I'll keep you up-to-date as to what my grade is..... Wink

An autobiography is an autobiography. I think it's a great idea and will probably be more entertaining then the rest of the presentations, esp. if you have visual aids.

I am curious about your use of the semi-colon in your thread title. Are they meant to be two separate clauses ?

Shouldn't it be My book presentation: Ron Jeremy to signify your presentation is on Ron Jeremy?

Well.. what do I know.. I am not doing an advanced degree in composition...

All perv tendencies and porn movies aside, Ron Jeremy is actually an odd/interesting/highly intelligent, and magnetic individual. I'm not kidding. If you've ever seen him talk on TV shows, you'd understand what I'm talking about. That guy could be good at many things, even if his johnson weren't involved.

Agreed, but he is quite confrontational about it. "I have a master's degree. Do you have a master's degree...so why don't you just shut up..."

There was a time when having a past as a porn actor/actress made you a persona non grata. Mr. Jeremy is enjoying that this is not the case anymore and will probably sell alot of books.

Saw him with Tammy Lee & Eric Estrada etc in a reality TV show.

Was quite good. All quite entertaining.

Jeremy is undoubtedly quite the cat.

he appears clever next to celebrities because he has nothing to prove

but the only reason he is famous is because he is good at making porn films, some people do you know, useful stuff

tzechuk~ I could've used a dash in place of the semi-colon and I could've used a regular colon....but I just wanted to spice things up abit....no better way to get people all riled up than to f-up the grammar

Which is also why I chose good ol' Ron. As most of my peers picked people like Ernest Hemmingway or F. Scott Fitzgerald or Hellen Keller (The yawn factor was too great), I thought it would be best to choose someone "outside the box" for a change. Cool

Besides, I met him once walking around Itaewon with two cheap-looking birds, one on each arm, in cosplay even!
Now how many famous people that have written any books can do that?

wutta' guy! Very Happy

Interestingly enough...
It was in 2003, I was sitting in Gecko's with my ex-gf with our backs to the door, next thing I know I hear someone say "Look at him!" and "Is that him?!" and then alot of hollering and hooting.
I turn around and it was Ron, larger than life, standing only a few feet from me. Notably, I had to explain to my ex-gf who he was before she understood and chuckled...

I saw him a day later walking near the Hamilton Hotel with those two hotties, one of them was a mixed Asian chick and the other I am guessing was American.

I swear, you can meet alot of interesting people in Korea.
