| I'm going to exchange a bunch of won into dollars this weekend. KB doesn't seem to give very good exchange rates - so I"m wondering .. where do you guys exchange your money? |

With the dollar crashing these days.... nowhere gives good rates. |

Huh? If the won is stronger than the dollar i would have tought you would do quite well? |

He is buying dollars....You are correct, my bad...
BUT... the won has been sliding against the greenback since Nov.7 and the FX rates are around 929 won to the dollar on commercial side so you can expect at the retail level they would be around 950 won to buy a dollar and 915 if you are selling currency. You would get slightly better rates for electronic remittances.

| I xchanged some cash at Woori Bank today. 4.2 mill came to 4420 us dollars, not too shabby. |

| exchange booth in itaewon. last one on the right as you are traveling from the hamilton hotel towards the army base. very close to the traffic light as you are leaving itaewon. of course it means making a trip to itaewon but for me this is an excuse to stop in seoul pub for a few crappy korean drafts on the way home. |
