Does anyone really belief that a mere 80, past and present baseball players, is anywhere near to the true figure for steroid abuse. For all the mock 'sound and fury' of the Mitchell report, it sounds like a whitewash to me. |

Mitchell writes in the report that he had to rely on a handful of sources and that the most recent events detailed happened at least 2 years ago. It's hardly a whitewash if he admits the report's limitations upfront. |

My guess is that Selig will probably nail a couple nobodies. Pressure Bonds and Clemens into a quasi disgrace of a retirement, and baseball will continue to tolerate cheating. Come on guys don't be so stupid - don't write cheques or anything else that can be traced. |
