I'll start off with the first comparison (you can use film clips, photos, poems, extracts from books - whatever you want) and I'm going to use the clip from 'Bridge over the River Kwai' where Col Nicholson (Alec Guinness) is trying to explain via a book to Sayamoto (Sessue Hakawaya)about the rules of the Geneva convention that forbids officers to work with the men - The clip reminded me of 60 years later when I was trying to explain to my first hagwon director about the contract she drew up in which she disregarded out of hand - anyway - enjoy the clip!

I get the feeling someone on the sopranos writing team worked in a hagwon in their younger days....
This clip always gives me the giggles
