Are they open yet? anyone can recommend a place just to go for a day.
I'm down in Mokpo, so preferably not too far away.
Did they start making snow yet?
websites of the resorts if they have them. And nothing that will break the bank, it's not as if i'm going to Switzerland or something. Thanks! |

| Never been...but I think Muju Resort is the closest one to you. I've heard it's decent. |

I got a seasons pass to Yong Pyong with a bus pass for 600,000. You can get there in about 2-2.5 hours via bus from Seoul.
Here is the website: http://www.yongpyong.co.kr/eng/index.asp
If you want a locker then please PM. I have an extra one available for 140,000 (1/2 the price you'll pay at the resort on your own), plus you'll get your own key, so you can just leave everything at the resort.
I'm leaving in 10 minutes to go snowboarding for the day~ |

The whole country is currently on a slippery slope and going down hill fast.
That aside there is a great indoor indoor place in Busan near Seomyeon, for those who don't want to battle the traffic. |

Muju is good, but every mountain has the same damned problem; to many people! You have to bus it for hours, deal with the endless and expensive hassle of rentals (unless you've got your own), wait in lift lines all day, then avoid all the boarder beginners kneeling and sitting all over the trails. Forget any medium/regular size jumps, you're going to land on some whiny pie cutter, or slaughter an entire family! |
