I was planning on staying with a friend in Seoul the night before I fly out of Incheon, but that has fallen through. Can anybody recommend a few decent places to stay that would be convenient in my situation? I'd like to be as close to the airport as posssible without spending much money. I guess I could stay in Seoul Station. It's not very close but I know there are more options. What do you think? I just don't want to stay in Incheon like I did last time and pay 120,000W for a room. OK?

You could try the Airport Guest House, which about 5 minutes by car from the airport. If you take the airport bus, then call the owner, he will come and pick you up It is 45k per night for a single room and 55k for a double. The telephone number is 032 743 0979. The website is www.icnhostel.com.

I stayed there earlier this year, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly.

drunkfud may be referring to the same place, but i've stayed at incehon airport guesthouse

a single room is 38 k a night, there are shuttles to the airport every hour, and they pick you up from the airport when you call them. the room are nice too. spotless, large, and they even have washing machines in the room.

i found out about the guesthouse through lifeinkorea.com, but if you go through the first website i posted, booking is cheaper.
