And By "talk" I mean "Advanced Birds and Bees: Asian Edition". I just had my graduation party and a friend of the family who lived in Japan for a few months for work has told me to come over his house for a "Talk" about what to expect in regards to the women.

Another friend of the family who likens himself a player and was in the army also wants to have a "talk" before I leave. There is no hint of sarcasm in any of either requests and it was clear they actually intend to have one before I leave.

Judging by their previous comments and their age(40+) I'll assume subjects will include:

- Dispelling myths about sideways Vag.
- Crazy Asian STDs I've never heard of
- Why they all want Green cards
- Stories of threesomes or just how kinky things can get with $100
- What to look for in a hooker(will she clean your house?)
- Why they love black guys and why you don't bring one back.

Surely, I'm not the only one.....

What a silly, sexist, insulting, sickening waste of time. Ukon was probably a poster on englishspectrum in 2005. Mods, please delete.

Why do nitwits like this insist on posting this inhumane nonsense?

You're not the only one, Ukon. Before I got here everyone told me how much Korean women would be falling over themselves for me. One friend told me to expect them to follow me around the grocery store just to check out what I'm buying. That hasn't happened; I find the dating scene more or less comparable to those in Canada with regards to successes and rejections.

My cousin, who is about 10 years older than me, dropped by just before I left and said he thought it would be cool to have a pretty Korean lady in the family if I happened to find one. My mom, who was there, said, "Just be sure she speaks some English."

My dad said the same to me - I said 'no chance' a notion that was dispelled by the time the plane landed at Incheon (because I flew Asiana see! Laughing )

I had a pep talk 'don't take any shit off them and if they do - tell them to stick their job up their arse'

That was the pep talk I gave myself on the plane! Laughing Friends and family told me 'try not to get sacked this time - there is no dole money in Korea!'

Some questions are just breeding grounds for trouble in a public forum.

Go on at it then....

All the countries are different.. These talks are pointless for your education about Korea if they haven't been here.

That's not what one of them thinks, although one of them was in Korea.

I think it's mostly going to be them telling Tucker Max-esque stories for an hour. Laughing
