or am I better off contacting EPIK directly? Any expereinces or thoughts that might help?
Seems like although I have passed the 12/15 deadline the Recruiters are still posting and looking for people. |

FWIW, I applied through ESL Planet. Rowan has answered every one of my questions so far. I can often get immediate answers through Skype chat or my emails get answered within 24 hrs. I commend him for answering "I don't know" to several of them. I have been fed the biggest load of dung by other recruiters on the phone.
I have also been working with Footprints, Adventure Teaching, and Longbridge recruiting. All of them have forwarded job offers, but Adventure Teaching and ESL Planet appear to be screening them a bit better than the others. I am not interested in an elementary age position. I was upfront with them, but some companies still send anything that comes across their desk. Some send the worst offers, but I guess there is always a chance that someone may take it.
I am sure I will be spliffed, harangued, or trash talked for giving a recruiter at least a 1%+ acceptance rating on this board, so flame away...

Hi guys, I've also worked through ESL-Planet and their great. I've now got my EPIK job in the location that I requested. EPIK also gives special attention to ESL-Planet as they are one of the largest EPIK recruiters in the business. Hope this helps! |
