will I need a CRC or medical prior to the so called March 15 deadline? Also, if for some odd reason I stay at the same school for a third year, is it just a matter of extending again or do I have a pile of BS to do? If so, do I need an interview? Sorry if I'm a little out of the loop. When I extended it sounded like all this immi stuff was going to amount to only a CRC. I've been on holidays and checked here to kill time and found a pile of new info. Any help would be great, many thanks.

Don't worry, you got the job done before the 15th of December. March 15th is the deadline for those extending after Dec. 15th. Be very happy you were able to extend before the 15th of Dec. Maybe by this time next year, some of these new regs will have fallen by the wayside.

Though I'm still a bit confused. Today at my school, we were given the list of the new regulations and requirements. It appears that all teachers in Korea have 3 months to fill out a medical form and see a Korean doctor and get a criminal background check from a Korean police department. You will not have to have an interview.

What is the expiry date on the back of your ARC?

You are good until then without restriction or worry.
