Hi,
I need some immigration help. I am off to China on the 23rd and was told that everythig was OK with my SK visas. I was double checking everything this morning and it doesn't look ok. The consulate in Toronto told me that both ny visa (e-2) and my hubby's visa (tourist) were multiple entry.
This morning it doesn't appear to be the case. They gave my hubby an F-3 single entry visa instead of the mulitple entyr tourist visa, and I have a single entry e-2. I have my ARC and remember checking the box and paying the $$ for the multiple entry. Am I OK? Is my hubby? What can we do?
Please help |

You need to go to the immigration office for your district and make sure. Once you are out of the country, if you don't have a reentry permit, you will have difficulty when you come back to Korea. |

Canadians do NOT get multiple entry visas for anything here.
If you BOTH have your ARC you can stop at the immigration office in the airport BEFORE you go through security and get a re-entry permit in your passport. The office is located in a back hallway behind check-in counter "F" in the departures hall.
It will cost you 30k won each. You will both need to show your passport, ARC and fill in an application form.
IF your hubby does NOT have his ARC he can leave (they will cancel his F3) and when he returns he will get a B2 visa waiver stamp (good for 6 months).
IF he has been here for more than 90 days on his F3 and doesn't have his ARC yet you will also be detained at immigration while they sort it out and he pays his fine (100k won). |
