Just curious who is working on Election Day. I for one am working today and hate being in the office on a semi-considered national holiday with all the banks, restaurants, etc closed. And those idiots voted for Lee Myung Bak (he has won).
Atleast I have a few days off for Xmas. |

I had the day off. Slept in then went to Jamshil for a little noon-time shopping and lunch at TGIFriday, home for a nap. Leisurely day. |

Funny you should ask:
I asked my head teacher if we have classes today. She asked the vice-principal, who replied "I think you have to work". This got interpreted to "we have classes" when it was told to me.
So I got to school today and found a bar in front of the stairs with a sign saying "Do Not Enter" (in Korean). Never being one to follow rules, I shoved the bar to the side so it was no longer blocking the stairs and proceeded up the my classroom.
No lights. No heat. No electricity. I was halfway through the second class of the day, in which half the students weren't there, when everything got turned on.
Turns out the VP didn't know what she was talking about- the principal said no classes but didn't tell anyone in my department. The security guard turned off everything and no one could find him for quite some time, thus the lack of electricity and heat for an hour and a half.
An interesting day. But I get paid hourly, so I was happy to work. |
