|
|
I had a system built at Yongsan. Every thing works pretty well except for the Microphone and headphone jacks on the front of the box. For example, when I try to use Skype and I plug in the headphones/microphone I hear nothing and the computer does not recognise the presence of a microphone. Any ideas what the problem might be, and if I could fix it myself? Thanks in advance. |

Sometimes there are two sets of jacks. One in the front and one in the back. They generally only hook up one set. |

My computer recognizes my microphone but it seems to have a 5-7 second delay in processing it, making it useless for internet calls. Think it's my pathetically cheap microphone or my computer? |

It's a plug-in microphone that I only use with Yahoo Messenger, and its the Yahoo sound check that is delayed. Could it be my internet connection? Or Yahoo? It worked fine for months, and then a few months ago it got the delay.
Edit: I just tried it with Skype and it seemed fine. Must be Yahoo. |

I'm having a similar problem with Vista. When I run XP, the front jack works just fine. When I switch to Vista, no headphones are detected. I was using Realtek drivers for Vista and the front jack was ok, but I had to uninstall them as they were causing conflicts with certain apps. |
