Ever had a problem with thieves in your school? I may be wrong, but I think I may have had around 120,000 or more lifted from my purse at work today. Guess I can't trust leaving my purse in the teacher's room while I go teach any more. I'll either ha ve to drag my bag to class, or take no more than 10,000 a day to work. Man, some people suck!
Same thing happened a few weeks ago, too. Everyone leaves their bags in the teacher's room, so maybe the secretary is doing this. Trust no one... Crying or Very sad

Why would you leave 120,000 in an unsecured location? Do you get a desk with a lock and key? If not just put the money on your person when you go to teach.

Yes!

And I sprung the kid responsible. His mother had died, he lived with his grandmother, & his father was unemployed. He never got his claws into any of my cash, but my co-teacher reported 100,000 won missing from her purse. Instead of going to lunch like the other kids, he'd hang around waiting for me to leave. One day, I'd forgotten something, & came back early from lunch, & found him inside the locked room. He'd thumped the exit door, until the bolt had shot out. Plus I'd obverved the same kid, running into PC Bang Bars, on the same days, that money went missing. I could get a job as a detective, if I ever get bored teaching!

Sorry for your loss, I had some valuable stuff stolen by Delta airlines baggage handlers at JFK about two months ago.

I would say it was the cleaning lady if there was one that stole your money.

why women insist on always leaving their purses lying around is a mystery to me... no one to blame but yourself, IMO... what's the point of carrying around a bag so big that you can't carry it around?

I've had two scooters stolen, my diploma stolen, approx. 50,000 won stolen out of wallet at work (hakwon - student!!), and my house was broken into before (the idiots only stole a few thousand won I had left on top of the fridge and my coin jar). Plus, countless other small items - my English/Korean dictionary, a novel, a few Cds... I've been robbed blind in this country.
