If you had a month or two to casually travel around a specific region of the world, where would you choose?
SE Asia and Latin America appeal to me because of the low cost of travel and living, but southern Europe sounds mighty nice.
I didn't include every single place, but I figured these would be the most popular.

Depends on what you like to do, I guess.
I'd love to travel around anywhere! I'd probably choose Asia, just cause I'm already here now, but if I were in Europe, I'd probably go around there if I had the money. If I were in South America I'd go travel around there, etc. I don't think there's anywhere I wouldn't be interested in taking an extended vacation. Maybe only North America is somewhere I'd be less interested in.
I voted other, cause I couldn't decide. |

If I hadn't been anywhere, I'd say Southeast Asia - most options and choices, etc.
But already been there many times and South America as well. I'd say "BRAZIL". |

Southeast Asia has a lot of really different countries/cultures all connected by really cheap airfare, and really cheap to travel in as well.
I loved traveling around South America, but most of the Spanish-speaking countries are quite similar overall (particularly compared to Southeast Asian countries). If you have studied Spanish, and love Latin American culture, definetely go there. It's a lot of fun, and if you can communicate a little bit, it makes it all the better.
Southeast Asia gives the most bang for your buck, combined with a strong very exotic factor, even between countries. |

Those are some long flights Mr. Balony.
I would go to the middle east. Start in Oman, to UAE, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Iran, up into Turkmenistan. |

What about Australia, NZ and the area?
If it was in the winter and I had lots of money, I'd head to the Rockies or the Alps with my board. |

how could you omit india? you could spend months there and still only get a little taste of it.
That's where I'd like to go back to. Love to explore the southern half of the country. |

I'd drive my truck from Thai up through Lao, enter Vietnam and drive down the coast, hang a right in Saigon and enter Khamers and enter Thai again... |
