Right, so I'm leaving Korea for Australia in Feb, thankfully after Seolal and horrendous ticket prices. If I was going straight to Aus, no problem. But I'm visiting old stomping grounds in Japan for a few days and this is a difficult itinerary to arrange, apparently. The one I've been presented with has me flying into and out of Tokyo when Osaka is where I'll be... So many transfers!
JetStar flies Osaka to Aus dirtcheap. Would it be okay to have a friend in Japan purchase a ticket in my name using their Japan address and contact details, or does this violate some rule? I'm a moron when it comes to travel. If I could do this and just book a simple flight from here to Osaka it would be so much easier.

Why does your friend need to buy the ticket. Can't you do that using any address anywhere in the world?

| Why dont you just buy a ticket with JAL from Seoul to Aus stopping over in Japan. That would be the cheapest way I would think. |
