Tonight I will go to this hip-hop club near my place. 15 000 won will get you one bottle of Bud, then after that unlimited draft beer.

There will be lots of Korean girls there, but I wouldn't expect anything from them though. Crappy music (unless you actually like hip-hop like 50 Cent), but cheap booze. Also, I will invite some of my Korean male friends to come along, just to ensure that no one causes poo-poo with us (which I doubt would happen in this club in any case).

It is near Suyu Station on Line 4. PM me if interested, let's make a party of this.

Sorry, I thought everyone lived in Seoul.

It is in North-East Seoul, near the infamous Miari red light district.

No, actually 75% of us live in other cities.
Thanks for the tip.

I just looked at a map, and the only city in Korea that I saw besides Seoul was Pyongyang. Either you are eating tree bark for breakfast, or you are lying.

Still good. But man, you go to these places that sell 3 liter pitchers of beer for 11 000 won, and think "Good deal!", but how much of that watered-down beer does one end up drinking? It is not cheap drinking in bars in Korea, and it adds up.

All is well with you?

Haha - should change the thread title to "Desperate Lonely Guys During Chuseok".

Actually, Suwon is known for having pretty much the only red light district in Korea that just caters to foreigners; that place is always packed with 3D workers from S-E Asia each night getting their rocks off (the A row don't do waeguknom, but rows B to E do).

Yeppers - good luck with your thesis.

Believe it or not, I have moved up in the world - I am writing an article for a prominent British magazine, I kid you not. Have to better myself, you know...
