Hi.
I've bought Tide at Costco (but I don't remember exactly which type it was, bleach alternative...etc.) If there is an Emart near you, you may want to check it out, too. They don't stock too many imported goods when it comes to household cleaning products, but it's worth a try.
There is an EMART in Yeoksam-dong near Seoneung Station (the one between Samsung and Yeoksam Station). The link to the map and description below.
The nearest Costco to COEX is near Yangjae. It's too far to walk, though, so you have to take a cab from Yangjae station.
Hope that helps.
Directions to Emart:
Here is the link to Emart's map
(The blue circle on the map is Seoneung Station. (Samsung is above, and Yeoksam is below)
1) Coming out exit three with point you in the right-ward direction. Go down this street (you'll be headed towards Hanti Station).
2) At the next main intersection you'll see a Prugio Apartment across the street on your right (303-dong should be the building at the corner). Turn right here.
3) Emart will be half way up the block on your left.
There are also some bus stops listed on the map. |

Try the black market merchants in Itaewon, Dongdaemun, Namdaemun or Sinchon. The going price is 15,000 won but if you go to a merchant regularly, he or she might give you a couple of thousand won off.
I've used Tide with Bleach Alternative and it's the most effective detergent I've used (as well as Consumer Reports' best pick).
Persil has a built-in water softener, but doesn't get things as clean as TBA. |

| Do you need to be a card-carrying Costco member to buy things at Costco here in Korea? Just like in the U.S. I suppose... |

I just want to know why you felt the need to use two i.d's here on Dave's. Are you that insecure? Pretty sneaky you were....but you got caught..now you are trying to put up a smoke screen. Next time try not to write EXACTLY the same way. Also, if you are being markhan, and then freakstar, you have to mix up your slang, instead of using the word 'rat's ass' WHENEVER you get angry at someone.
pathetic. |

Yep, and it's better if you can walk to it, otherwise, you'll lose any savings if you have to cab it or drive. |

Can't walk to Costco from where I work or live. But if I can't find TBA anywhere else, I may have to go on a Costco run regardless to shop for other household items. Thanks for all your help. |
