Ron Paul is cleaning up! Big surprise.

End the Empire, bring the troops home. Get the hell out of Germany, Korea, Japan! (and 127 other countries).

Canada for Ron Paul!

I think the world would probably elect Kucinich.

Chalk it up to excellent cable-television programming in Chile...?

Surprise, the candidate that would weaken the US on the international stage is a contender. The more I learn about Ron Paul the more I dislike him.

And I don't know why Kucinich is saying he would run with Paul. Who would be President, and who VP? Kucinich is far too liberal to accept the complete elimination of social programs that Paul supports. "Charity would make up the difference," my ass. Clearly the rich are handing out what they're no longer paying in taxes, no wait, they're not. Huh, guess that doesn't work out, does it?

The only good thing about Ron Paul is his foreign policy. I think that's the only reason Kucinich likes him. In a perfect world, smaller government works, but in reality, people need things like public education, healthcare, and business regulation.

Wait a minute..Bill Clinton, strengthened America on the world stage, world loves him.

George W. Bush weakens America on world stage, world hates him.

Personally I hope Huckabee gets it. guys like him in charge just makes us europeans look enlightened.

What are you talking about? They may have altered perception of the US in the way you mentioned, but not the US's actual power. If anything, applied power wise, Bush has 'strengthened' the US.

What Paul would do is to actually remove the US from positions of influence in the world. That's bad for us, and the rest of the world. Like it or not the world needs a superpower, and better the US than China.

How does putting America into an endless draining war and into massive debt and overseeing a downswing in the value of the dollar make her more powerful?

Quite so. I also would like to know why exactly the world needs a 'superpower'?

Let us take a trip into the conservative mindset....

Setting: Boris, the Russian Bear is talking to Akbar, the Arab Terrorist, as the two of them are sitting across the street from Uncle Sam's house.

Boris: Jeeze... would you look at that?"

Akbar: I know.

Boris: Set his own house on fire just to show us he's not someone to *beep* with

Akbar: You should have seen what he did with Saddam's empty lot.

Boris: Well, I better not mess with him then.

Akbar: Yeah, me too.

Across the street, Sam is on his roof and yelling: Any of you other punks wanna mess with me?! I'll put a bullet in my own kid's head just so you'll know how serious I am!

Sam's kid: Daddy, you said I wouldn't get left behind...

Sam: Shut it kid. I just said that so your mom would give me anal.

What are you talking about? The U.S. supports horrific regimes around the world, while China is a peace-loving nation that supports the freedoms that the U.S. restricts. The U.S. should be despised because they fight wars. China doesn't fight wars. The U.S. is the real enemy.

Don't you get it? Question

Just goes to show, no matter how far left you might be there's always someone farther out there.

I think I would have phrased it differently, but the world always has imbalances in the distribution of power. History shows that when countries are roughly equal in power, there is a temptation to go to war. The misfortune of the world today is that the lone superpower has an administration that is contemptous of its own country's ideals, both domestically and internationally.
