I'm in Canada for the holidays, and would like to pick up some camping gear before trekking back, as I understand it's cheaper over here.
I'm looking at stoves and lanterns, but I forgot to check whether the fuel containers available in Korea will match up to those commonly available in Canada.
Coleman's quite big in Korea, so I don't imagine there will be any problems if I buy something here, but if anyone has any info please lemme know. |

You are going to have problems flying with containers, even if empty and unused. Airlines won't allow it (or wouldn't a few years ago and the restrictions are tighter now). I don't know about shipping them, I'm guessing if empty it's ok? |

Sorry, to rephrase my hastily typed and somewhat unclear OP, I'm planning to buy just the stove and lantern gadgets in Canada, and use fuel containers available in Korea.
Will they be able to connect? Or are they like foreign electronics that can't plug into Korean sockets? |
