I am an educated American English teacher in Seoul, Korea...3years here. And my soon to be wife is an educated Filipina, though she is still in the Philippinnes now. We are thinking about settling our lives here, getting jobs here, raising our family here and more. Any advice that can be given to us about the visa process, marriage, birth of our children, healthcare, insurance, potential job avenues for her, and future ideas for retirement/pension would be appreciated. But also as of right now I want to know even more about the education avenues here..would my future children be allowed to pursue their education in the Korean public school system if they are born here, but neither parent is Korean? I want the answer to that question especially ...or better options for private schooling..because private schools I have seen are definetely very high. So again can they attend public school? Any advice about my specific question or about my sitiuation in general is appreciated. Thanks. |
