Well, I think they were tits (박새). Lovely sweet little sparrow-like birds with black feathers on their heads and chests.
There were also some beautiful little green birds, also about the size of sparrows, with silver rings around their eyes.
I saw them while walking through my campus to the language centre. It's a great way to start the morning, seeing their sweet little flittery antics and hearing the cheep cheeps and the sound of beaks pecking at the insects. |

I just realized it looks a lot like my kitten.
Anyway, I saw the pretty green ones again today and did some research. They are 동박새, (Japanese White Eyes). Very cute, and quite similar in appearance to New Zealand's Silvereyes.
I don't think you've got these ones up in Seoul. |
