I think I want to ship my laptop home since I don't want to pack in SE Asia for a month of light weight backpacking travel. It's a 3 year old laptop that might only bring 100,000 won here on Daves if I were to sell it this week, but still has plenty of power to do everything I'm doing minus DVD burning.
Can I put it in a Korean post shipping box with my other things I'm shipping home or do I need a special courier service?
Thanks in advance for your advice. |

Pretty much the same situtation- I did it, no problems.
A 5 year old laptop that was still working, but going for $100 US on Ebay.
My friend in the States wanted it, so I boxed it up and sent it regular mail.
Of course, you've got to pack in foam or something else to pad it.
It cost about 65,000 Won and it arrived there okay.
That's not to say that the process is perfect. There are many things that can go wrong.
I hope this answers your question! |
