Hello
I am currently bunny-sitting for a friend. I need to buy some timothy hay or a similar brand. Does anybody know where I can buy it? Also, a place that sell chewing toys for rabbits.

until your rabbit owner returns... and then I recommend
local bedding material, local carrots, local lettuce and so
on and so forth... |

Go easy on the carrots and lettuce.
Emart *usually* has timothy hay/alfalfa, but not always.
Many pet stores seem to be geared exclusively to dogs, so check out places that sell a variety of small animals.
Re: chewing toys. It's a great idea, but all your rabbit really needs is a piece of untreated wood. If he/she tries to chew on plastic or rubber, he/she'll probably end up carving it into small pieces and swallowing them. Not good. An untreated wicker basket or just a cardboard box will do.

Hello
Thank you for the help. I live in a small town, so I will make a trip to emart in the next city on Monday. I am only babysitting for a few more days, but the information will be useful for my friend as well. I was litter training him, but he kept eating the wood shaving. The package says it is untreated wood and ok-but he started to go off his food a bit and drink tons of water. So, I took it away. (He was very sad. He loved playing with the wood shavings.) He seems to be doing much better. I looked up information on the net and it said that rabbits should have hay as they eat and go at the same time. Plus, it aids digestion. I have given him several toys (paper roll, hard rubber ball, a jumping box etc..) I found a rabbit store on the net-it sells tree sticks and hay and such, but it is somewhere in seoul. Emart is definitely easier!

Hello.
The distributor is for Oxbow products. They have a big selection of things for rabbits. I am sorry that it will not link directly. However, if you copy and paste, it will take you to the website. I will note that the websites are in Korean only. (However, there are product pictures and some descriptions and they are in English. It was interesting to click around and look.) Plus, it looks like one site is also a vet. I heard finding a vet for a rabbit is difficult. So, it is worth checking out.
If anyone knows where this is-could you please post it? (subway stop, exit number, etc.) I tried to find the directions on the website, but I couldn't read the Korean very well.
