Im sure this has been done before but for those that are interested in cooking I thought it would be worth posting.
There is a good foreign supermarket in Itaewon on the hill about 50-100 meters up. Prices are pretty reasonable I think. Other than that I use the Costco website which is normally quick and reliable: http://www.ezshopkorea.com/
Homeplus and Emart has some good stuff as well. Shinsaege too (although a bit pricey).
Particularly Im looking for a shop sells ingredients such as:
Fennel seeds, Chopped Dill weed/ or possibly powder, Anise seeds, Whole cinnamon cloves, Fenugreek seeds, Ground nutmeg, Ground mace, Cardamon powder or Whole Cardamon pods (black or possibly green), Coconut milk powder and Peanut sauce.
But generally where are the best places to get foreign foods either over the net or in places like Itaewon etc etc |
