It seems that many contracts for E2 visa holders are for 120hours per month. Is this related in anyway to the visa rules ....or is it an industry standard?

Can an employer for instance have a basic 160 hours per month before o/t kicks in? Are E2 visa holders hours restricted in anyway from the principal employer?

120 is such a BS figure.

Should be by the week and day. 30 teaching hours a week, 6 teaching hours a day from, for example, 2 to 9. Anything more than 6 teaching hours or before/after 2/9 is overtime.

One teaching hour = 40 to 50 minutes.

If that's the case then and an average month has 21/23 working days then it should be 126 to 138 per month.

I'm a little confused. Where does this 120 month figure come from?
