Any major department store like emart, homeplus, lotte mart, etc. Mom and pop hardware shops often have them.
I'm sure you know, you need not only the plug adapter, but the voltage converter, too. Expect to pay 40,000 or more for the box-type ones at a dept. store. |

In response to your question...
You can buy these plugs at any large mart (Emart, etc) or in many neighborhoods, they have places that sell hardware or locks. I've bought some in these stores, too. For the local places, all their items are stacked all over the place, so if you don't speak Korean, your best bet is to take in the little power cord from Canada and indicate what you want by motion. =)
In response to the previous post, some electronic appliances need a voltage converter and some don't.
Canada's 110v, right?
Some electronic items have it's own converter built inside, where it adjusts automatically to either 110v or 220v. In this case, you only need the little adaptor plug that fits into the end of your power plug.
Some electronic items are only set to work at 110v. For these, you need a voltage converter (pronounced "toh-ren-seu" in Korean).
You can check near the area of the shaver that the cord plugs into. It should say either:
1) 110v
2) 220v
3) 100-240v (This means it can work in both Canada and Korea without a separate voltage converter)
(The numbers may vary slightly, but generally, some have a specified voltage requirement, and some have a range, like #3).
I brought an electric shaver from the U.S. (110v), and it is labeled 100-240v. So I just bought a little plug for a few hundred won and plugged it into the wall in Korea.
Hope that helps. |

homever has a plug adapter for 30000 won. it's tiny and works great. the brand name is FTH (for the humans) and they can be found in the electronic section across from the computers on the end of the aisle. well at the homever in ilsan anyway. |

If you have a stationary store nearby, they often have odds and ends like plug adapters and computer cables, etc. |
