So...I met a girl and even though we dated a couple of times, she wasn't very interested in me and it didn't work out. Still, because I met her mom and sibling, I wanted to stop by their New Years party and drop off a gift and wish them a Happy New Year. This gift is going to her mom...not to her. Are flowers good for New Years? If so, what sorta flowers? (Definitely not roses...too romantic) HELP!

Do you bring gifts to all the people you meet everyday? Do you have any money left?

Given the fact that you can't decide whether flowers are appropriate or not for a situation that definitely does not require you give a present, this decision is the least of your worries.

Ok, I'll stop being mean. Flowers are ok, but you still shouldn't bring anything.
