|
I'm dying for a nice, hot, relaxing soak in the tub. With maybe a glass of shiraz, a good book... ahh, that'd be so sweet after a long day's work.
So I was thinking: is there any way that I could buy some kind of cheap plastic tub or tub substitute to stick in my shower stall? Do they sell such a thing anywhere? Something a little more tub-like than a kid's pool or basin, something rectangular ideally. I've got about 115 x 65 cm to work with. Not much space, but I'm keen sticking something bathtub-like in there.
Please, no pics of the amazing tub you have at your place -- I'd just die of jealousy. I'm also not too up for moving -- I like my pad, so that option's out. But for any other leads, I'd be most grateful. |

Someone on here was selling a bathtub maybe 3 months back.
You can get them. |

Yeah, they are plastic. They are not full size, but you can get them.
I hear yah about the bath.
We use a really large red round tub in our 'house.' It's mostly for washing the kids but every now and then I pathetically try to curl up and submerge myself in it.
Oh, I wish I were rich enough to have a decent house. |

-the tubs are one of the reasons I plan to move to Japan in 2010. I love how short and deep they are. |

That's what I do when the urge for a good soak hits me.

you must be rather short - I call those the "chicken in a pot" because I always wind up with my legs up on the wall - kind of like sticking a whole (too big) chicken in a (too small) pot to stew it hence the slang -
back in nyc I had a tub that was soooo long and sooo deep - I would actually float in it - now THAT was a nice soaker - it was maybe 70-80 years old - totally wasteful of water - sigh, they don't make'm like that anymore!!! |

I'm almost 6'4" (193cm) but I enjoy having your whole back supported in the tub, even if your chin is on your knees. |

Cool, thanks everyone for raising my hopes that I actually might find one.
Cheonmunka, you sound in the know about this. Plastic and not-full-size is fine with me... any leads on where to find one? I've Daum-ed and Navered and now I'm ogling Google pics, but have yet to find suitable tub available in the ROK. |
