Has anybody had any experience with the Avalon franchise in South Korea? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. |

I have friends that work for Avalon and they have no problems. Pretty straightforward, standard job. |

You can find a pretty long trail of disgruntled former Avalon employees heading to greener pastures. That being said, it isn't the worst place you could end up, but certainly not the best either. They pay on time and the apartments are usually nice. That's about the only thing it has going for it, and the only thing that makes it better than some other places that can't even get that much going. They are also starting to franchise now, so who knows what the non-company owned schools will be like. If you work at a company owned branch, especially the Jeongja head-office school, be prepared to deal with management that is pretty disdainful of their foreign teachers. |
