As a requirement for renewing with the Incheon Office Of Education I recently completed the required medical exam and the HIV/DRUG tests at the GIL General Hospital in Guwol-dong. The total costs break down like this : medical exam 40,000 won , HIV test 9,000 won, Drug test 12,760 won. The tests took place on two separate occasions ~ when I went for the medical exam I was initially told by GIL hospital nurses that they do not do the HIV /Drug tests there at the hospital. It turns out they can do the HIV/Drug tests at GIL hospital afterall.
I'm curious whether those of you who have already completed the required tests in Incheon paid fees similar to what I paid. The point in asking is to know if fees are relatively consistant or not.
For me , I always make it a point to keep copies of all my hospital visits and test results. AND, any results I give to my supervisor [who forwards them to the Office of Education] are sealed in an envelope as a privacy matter. I tell my supervisor at no time is it necessary for them to break the seal. I don't need my test results to be used as office gossip as is the nature here.

You better keep your copies because you paid for them, not that you should have. |
