Can anybody recommend a good hotel in Hong Kong, at a reasonable price - say 80 bucks a day?

The Ibis in North Point. I'm staying there next weekend. Haven't been there yet but the reviews are all right.

This place:

www.hongkonghotels.com

has some really great deals. I was surprised by their prices. Instant confirmation, too. Well worth taking a look.

Ibis is an international budget hotel chain that has a certain standard that they keep. Basically they are a no thrill hotel but really excellent in terms of their room conditions (usually new and definitely very clean).

BTW, you might find North Point a tad inconvenient.. but still, HK is a sufficiently small enough place that you can go from A to B within an hour or so.
