ok.... i only know 'dont worry be happy' so i'm not exactly an expert, but it only mentions classical music on the program. I'm guessing this means its not a bobby mcferrin 'show' and he is conducting not performing right?

OMG!! Ya know, me and my GF were on one of the adventure Korea trips, and somehow, the topic at drinks turned to Bobby Mcfarrin, and someone told us that he killed himself. "NOOOO, no way, he didn't kill himself". We wait for one guy to come back from the bathroom for possible independent confirmation (in case it was a joke). As soon as the guy comes back, we ask, and almost immediately he says "Yeah, he shot himself".

So, Ariel, Edgar, if you guys are on here BOBBY MCFARRIN DID NOT KILL HIMSELF!!!!

McFerrin isn't going to be conducting, he's going to be performing.

And you won't hear "Don't worry, be happy." He HATES that song and will probably mention so in the concert.

Actually, I just imagined him sitting in a chair and playing "Don't Worry Be Happy" over and over again...

A bit of what to look forward to, I'd wager...

If I go I ain't gonna sit dumbfounded like that audience...I'm gonna get up and do my ajumma and ajeoshi dance...thumbs and all.

Of course, I'd only wish for this all night long...

This is good too; the first time I got respect for him was watching him do a bunch of songs with Bela Fleck; amazing stuff.

Given how often I've heard the phrase 'Don't worry, be happy' since I've been in Korea, I bet half of the audience will be bummed out when they find out that's not the show. Laughing

The show was amazing.. I went to the Friday show and the theater was nearly packed. From my vantage point I didn't see a foriegner expect maybe for one of the Misuda girls..

Anyhow it was flipping AMAZING.. The show had a variety of things like Audience participation, Bobby Mcferrin and Friends, Some old School Bobby and some Classical Bobby. I left the show with severe chicken skin (GooseBumps).
