The memorization and huge burden of vocabulary lists swamps my capacity. Wouldn't it be better to learn useful sentence patters to automaticity with a few standard words, and than add words at a sane pace while USING the sentence patterns you've learned?

I'm trying to put lessons together in that philosophy. I've been here 8 years. Here is what I think, and my first three Korean lessons...

This is bad. Sorry, it just is. You need to go back to square one and get a better understanding of basic grammar.

Here's a little Android app I made to help learn Korean vocabulary :

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=taebongsoft.hanjaobuilder

Probably more suitable for lower intermediate level and above.

What would be the Korean word for “Reality TV show”. Something like “Big Brother” or “Bachelor “ . I think I saw this type program for Korea for filming an idol group or something. The specific program I am taking about is “꽃보다 할배” and the follow up “윤 식당”. I asked a few people and none ever heard the phrase “reality TV” (리앨리티 트비??) . Some insist it is 예능 프로그램, but those are events on stages with singers and such. I need to know because I am taking the KIIP exam soon and one question that comes up often is “Tell us how much you love K-dramas. Tell us about your favorite K-drama, etc.” But I have never watched a K-drama in my life. I did enjoy 꽃보다 할배 though. Thanks

I find the best way to learn a language is to have fun.

Here are some fun drinking games you can use to practice Korean.
