On January 19th we will be having a get together for all people interested in joining the Suwon BlueWings new foreign supporters organization. We will be going out for sam gyup sal and soju. Should be a great time, most people haven't met yet so don't be afraid of being left out.
For those of you who don't know, the BlueWings are a K-League football (soccer) team and play in Suwon World Cup stadium. Also, it isn't confirmed yet, but Beckham and the Galaxy are probably coming to Korea in February to play Suwon.

Last night was a great success. There were 15 people there, mostly everyone was meeting for the first time, and we hung out for about 5 hours. Samsung was nice enough to pick up the check being as it was our first gathering. There will be a fan day on the 24th of February at the world cup stadium and after the game the fans will go to help hand out food to the poor people in Suwon. I think somewhere around city hall. After that we'll go out for drinks. |
