My poor wife has been helping me set up internet banking to transfer money automatically from Woori to a higher-interest account with Prime every month. Wow... so so difficult. She's been working on it for 3 days now. One bank has my name as this... the other as that (because some banks allow fewer characters in a username, etc.). We've had a heck of a time!
My Wooribank internet account even has this funky calculator-thingie that spits out codes like something from Mission Impossible.
One thing we can't figure out though: She can qualify for a special tax refund if she has under a certain figure in one account, but I cannot. Are foreigners taxed differently on savings? |
