Hey hip cats!

Our group, Seoul Photo Club, is conducting a weekly photo challenge. The challenge themes change regularly, and the winning photo is published in the Korea Herald. We've already had our photos pu

Our group is based in facebook, but once the year gets underway, we're going to move to our own run site.

If you're interested in photography and want to have a chance to get published in a national newspaper, then join our facebook group and submit your photos.

This week's challenge is an open challenge, so submit your best photo. The only condition is that the photos must be taken in Korea.

Join our group here: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=19270545664

We already have 108 members and more are welcome.

Cheers

David

Cool. Looks like fun. Nice photos on the site. Once I get to Korea in Feb i'll start posting. Or is it okay to post non-korea photos?

No, sorry ... because the images are being published in a Korean newspaper, they want Korean content. So that's the only major stipulation.

We've got more challenges running, and photos are being published weekly.

Join the facebook group and participate!! Smile

Why do you keep bumping this....?

No replies = noone is interested... (you must have done something wrong at the first meeting)...?

I do my own photography every other weekend - and I have my own web-site which displays my photography... (It gets over 30,000 views each DAY)....

There is no way I would allow you to take my photography and post it on a "Facebook" site - because then the photos would belong to them and not me...

at least with my own site - the photos are mine...

I'm not in the club, but I do remember superdave getting a lot of members simply from posting on here. Not replying doesn't equal not interested in.

I also remember superdave mentioning that pictures on facebook are no longer subject to "ownership" by facebook once a person removes the pictures from the facebook account.

people aren't meant to reply to this thread.

however, each time i bump it, new people see the thread and we get 5-10 more members. we've had over 30 members this week join up.

so respect the fact that other people are interested in this thread and, rather than reply, are heading over to join our group.

the problem with the internet is that everyone has an opinion. if you don't like this thread, then don't read it, or reply, or participate. you mightn't like to join, and that's fine ... i'd never jump on the internet and go out of my way to be critical of you and your ways.

it's far easier to be critical, rather than constructive, i guess ...
