Anyone going to the Philippines and want to make a couple of bucks?
I found this balm, Yellow Healer Balm, and it works like magic.
I would love to get my hands on a few more vials of this stuff.
I leave in early February to go home, so it would have to be before that for pickup or delivery or mail.
Otherwise, anyone have any unused portions of this stuff?
I can't find it anywhere on the Internet.
Thanks,

Is it like Tiger balm?

If it is, you can probably find it in the open market or large pharmacy in Korea. It's a famous international brand from SE Asia.
This stuff gets really hot as you rub it into your skin and it smells very strongly of pine trees and menthol.
I also checked Gmarket. You can get it there for 4000W.
Good luck |

The stuff is made from camphor, petrol atom or vaseline which ever you prefer to call it and the pine sent problably comes from tea tree oil. If you infuse these three things into the vaseline you will have a reasonable facsimile. The trick is to get the amounts correct so you don't get a rash. The heating sensation is caused by the dilation of the capilaries in the skin from the camphor, its also a mild irritation, feels pleasant enough. |
