Now, this is something like the 4th time you've posted this here but that's not the key issue here. Being a bike geek, I'd like to help you sell your ride.
First, this isn't a Yamuha; it's a Hyosung Exiv with a Yamuda plastics kit. I owned an Exiv for a year and a half and I can vouch that for a 125 it's a pretty sporty little bike. Try advertising it as a Hyosung; that at least has some local name recognition.
Second, these bikes sell all the time on bikemart.co.kr. Can you get a Korean friend or co-worker to register on the site and help you out? Your chances would be greatly improved by marketing to a Korean audience, especially at >$1k for a 125. passo.co.kr is another option.
Third, mention costs of maintenance. That is, virtually NONE. These bikes really sip gas; manwon lasts about a week with regular driving. Tires are about 60 bucks. Chain and sprockets, about 40 -- installed (to put that in perspective, a boxed chain and sprocket set for my Ninja costs more than 250). Oil change, 5 bucks. This is a CHEAP bike to own and operate.
Fourth, you don't need a special license to drive one of these bikes. You have to have a normal Korean license, yes, but you don't have to take the moto test. You can get a Korean license with only some hassle at your district's version of the DMV, and then you're road-legal (pending insurance and tags of course).
Good luck! |

Hey man,
I really appreciate the help and advice this time. it is super informative.
as well, i recently posted this bike on bikemart... and it was listed under Yamuda EXIV. I do realize what you are saying, though and again I appreciate your advice.
I am going ahead and changeing my subject name to be as acurate as possible.
Thanks again for your positive feedback!!!
best,

In regards to a Korean license, you don't have to have a Korean license. You can have a valid home country license accompanied by a valid international license. Anything over 125cc requires a motorcycle endorsement on whatever licenses you are using. |
