Please offer suggestions for good stays in Daejeon.
####I have one. It is on the assumption you have a map of the city with subway stops. If you can make it to the "National Government Complex" subway stop, walk towards the first intersection away from the park you have entered above ground. Walk towards the street that has an E-Mart on it (listed on map to the left of this exit). When you get to this street, turn left. E-Mart and then High Mart should be on the opposite side of the street. E-Mart is at an intersection with lights. Stay on the opposite side of the street. There is also a set of lights at this intersection. Walk to the next set of lights (You should pass an orangy type of colored building maybe 10 stories tall), turn left. Keep to the left of the road. Almost across from the 7-11 is a motel called the "House Motel". Very nice. W40,000 to W50,000 a night. Very clean. It is a really nice stay. (No English. So, you better know a few Korean words.) There is a district of bars and restarants behind a place called "Time World" back on the main road that E-Mart was on. #### |
