300,000 won OBO
never used; i bought it before coming over planning to buy a new computer over here; i wound up buying a used nb that i still have after several years and just bought a new mac nb so i'll never use it.
of course the unlock codes are included.
conditions: cash only. if you are comfortable loading the software you can buy it and pick it up. if you want my assistance, and i'm happy to give it, i can come to your place (providing it's in Seoul) and help you install it and make sure everything's working before i leave; you pay at that time.
pm me or respond here if you can't pm yet. |

Don't you wanna run boot camp on your mac? Anyways, more to the point:
1) Is the Windows OEM or retail?
2) What version of MS Office is it exactly? |

what is OEM?
i bought it at my university computer software store
it's dated 2003 on the disk - do you need something more specific than that?
am not sure what boot camp is but no way i'm putting a windows disc on my mac - no reason to - i still have my other nb that runs 98 so am good to go as far as i'm concerned
any more questions? |

Really? As in you have to have a previous version of Windows installed before you can install XP? And if you ever need to re-install it, you have to re-install the old version of Windows before you can re-install the XP?
Wow, this deal is just looking worse and worse. Good luck.

actually, this is a very good deal - but you need to know how to use a computer - obviously, you don't. |

No, it's not a good deal. Since Vista came out XP has gone down in price. I could get it for as little as 25% of your price, and still new and legit, on ebay. I could get it for less than half of what you want on Amazon. |

it's the MS Office that people usually want - the XP upgrade is for people who might be on an earlier version and need to upgrade in order to install MS Office
like I said before, obviously you don't know much about computers or you would already know that.
so stop trolling my posts |

Who the f.u.c.k is on an earlier version than XP that is going to pay that to upgrade to it. Those people obviously don't care what OS they are running. Most people that are going to respond to this do know about computers. Good luck on that one! |

So you have to have an earlier version of Windows to use this XP...isn't that what I said earlier? How is it I don't understand computers? I think you're a bit quick here in insulting others.
To show how this isn't a good deal...go to pc.danawa.com
Windows XP Pro in English (DSP = OEM) is 130,000.
Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student is 135,000.
And the grand total is.....265,000 won! That's a saving of over 35,000 won and you don't even need an earlier version of Windows to get use of it!
Issue settled.

you have to be a student - DUH - to qualify for a student's discount - most people on here are NOT students - they are Teachers -
am not sure why you think being a pr*ck to someone just offering some software for sale is acceptable?
perhaps you're just one of those sexist insecure morons who can't tolerate the idea of a woman knowing how to use a computer? no doubt better than you - ?
what a bleeping jerk you are - !

ms office first version is way over the cost of what this is - if you had a brain instead of just poo in your head you'd know that

A sincere and friendly word in your ear moosehead--
I haven't met any of the people who are replying to this thread personally, but it's obvious from their previous posts, both here and in the tech forum, that they are highly computer savvy. If you would stop insisting that they are computer illiterate, you just might learn something from them.
When I contacted you privately about the software, I completely lost interest upon learning that it's an upgrade version. As I'm sure the other respondents are aware, upgrade versions are much less stable than full versions. No doubt it was merely an oversight on your part, but because you didn't include that information in your original post, they probably felt somewhat misled.
Dave's can be a harsh place, which prevents me from participating more fully, but I think you're overreacting in the extreme. Your allegations of sexism are particularly out of place here because there's no previous indication of your gender anywhere in this thread!
I suggest we all take the inflammatory language down a notch. |
