| I have read alot about how with the increased need for ESL teachers in Korea, no one should accept 2.0 for pay. What are most ppl asking for now? |

Think that most people are bypassing hakwons all together and just going straight for the public school jobs.
If you feel the burning need to tough it out at an institute, ask for 2.3 + housing and work from there.
If you don't like kids, or aren't sure whether or not you do, then don't promise yourself to a kiddie hakwon for a year. |
