My fiance and I are hoping to find jobs in Seoul starting late this summer, preferably in a public school. Because we're planning a wedding for June and have some big things coming up, we'd like to get everything squared away as soon as possible to make the planning a bit easier. However, the SMOE program and the recruiters I have contacted seem to be scheduling everything for the month before we want to leave.
Is this just because most schools aren't sure what openings they will have available? Is there any way to make plans or get hired several months before you want to leave? |

I tried finding a job early as well, but the problem is that most teachers dont give their notice until 45-60 days before the end of their contract. So getting a job before that would be tough. |
