Hey, I'm going to be moving to Daejeon, does anyone know about paragliding clubs or associations in the area?

Thanks - Brian

There are two websites of paragliding schools in Seoul. Maybe you can contact them for some help with a school in Daejeon. I paraglide, but I live in Gangwon-do.

I, too, live in Gangwondo. I would love to paraglide, but I have never tried.

Where should I go or who should I contact to set something like that up?

Even if your instructor just knows a little English, it will not be a problem on taking lessons.
My instructor didn't even know basic English when I took my lessons and we learned to work great together. The biggest help was from a lot of paragliders from bigger cities who knows English. When they came to fly they are more than happy to help out and to improve their English.
You will learn that a lot of the paragliders and hang glider in Korea are very friendly.

I learned in Korea from an instructor who's English was sub par and at the time I thought it was fine. Until I travelled that is. While in Australia I witnessed some instructors and students and what they learn and I felt really foolish for learning from a Korean. I'd think twice about it. I found that my korean instructor could tell me to do something but couldn't tell me why? Luckily, there was an Aussie who was experienced that was able to really teach me.
