I'm a bit new to Korea - where is Monkey Beach bar in Bundang? When shopping I've located the Dublin Irish Bar, but I don't know where MB is short of near Samsung Plaza.

I remember it being on the other side of Samsung Plaza to irish bar. Coming out then it would be down and on your left. You should see a sign on 2nd or 3rd floor of building it's in.

If you come out of samsung plaza, it is on your left, i cant remember which exit of the plaza.

It's about 4 or 5 buildings down on your left once you exit the plaza, you will see a monkey face on the second floor when you look up.

There's one in Bundang eh? Same fire shows? Same owner? I'm referring of course to the three-Jack-shot-for-man-won bucket shop in Apku. I have no idea how that guy makes money, he must be like Schroder, from Peanuts, who, when it was brought to his attention that his piano's black keys were only painted on said, "I just have to try harder," or some such.

the sign is on the third floor, it is red and has a big picture of a monkey face, sometimes it is easy to miss. You can always pop into Dubs and ask anyone there.

Same side of Samsung Plaza as Dublin or opposite?

It's on the opposite. Turn left before Krispy Kreme, walk straight for two blocks and it's on your left

If you're at the front door of Galleria department store, facing the main street, it's across that main street, about 200m directly into that opposite block. You'll have to make some turns and such, but, really, you'll find it if you cross into that block and wind around a bit.

I went to Mokey Beach in Apgu about 7/6 months...It was great...Not to crowded at the time...Getting drinks was quick...

Now it's fucking packed...Takes ages to get served by the two bar people...Hard to get around...The only good thing is the cheapness.

I met my friend at Monkey Beach in Apgujeong tonight and will have to say its a unique bar with Thai decoroations and great drink prices. The self-serve style could become annoying pretty quickly on a busy night. The music was a Caribbean-funk mix for 30 minutes, then fell off into shitty American rap (think "Souljah Boy") as the night went on.

But with 50% drinks from 7:30-8pm, we filled up on Jose Cuervo and import beers. Regular shots: 2,000-3,000. Beers: 3,000-6,000. At 50%, we'll go back for that happy hour.

Tried to find it tonight by following directions on a review site. (They were TOTALLY wrong.)
